If, at the agreed future date (for example, five or six years from the initial investment month and year), your investment is worth less than your original investment amount (minus our initial advice fee), we will refund all ongoing advice fees paid over that period.
2. Service Conditions
For this guarantee to apply, you must have attended your annual planning meetings each year (whether in person or online) to allow us to review and make any necessary tactical or strategic adjustments to your investments.
3. Complaints Procedure
If you are unhappy with our service, a formal complaint must have been raised during the period at the precise point you become unhappy with our service. This ensures any service concerns are addressed in real time. You cannot retroactively claim dissatisfaction at the end of the guarantee period without having raised it earlier.
4. Timeframe Clarity
The guarantee period extends to the end of the agreed period calendar year, For example, a five-year guarantee on an investment made in November 2025 will run until the end of 2030.
5. Flexibility for Adjustments
You agree to allow recommended adjustments to your portfolio to ensure it remains aligned with your goals, as this is part of the service ensuring the best possible outcome.
6. Withdrawal Condition
This guarantee does not account for any withdrawals you make. If you withdraw funds from your portfolio, thus reducing your investment below the original amount, that won’t qualify for the refund. The guarantee applies only if the value falls due to market performance, not personal withdrawals.
7. External Factors
The guarantee does not apply to losses arising from external factors beyond our control, such as taxation changes, natural disasters causing significant market volatility.
8. Fee Refund Cap
We will refund ongoing advice fees only up to the amount of the actual loss. For example, if the shortfall is £5,000, and the regular fees were £6,750, we will refund £5,000 rather than the full amount of fees paid over the entire period.
